Young Economist Essay Awards 2006
Every year, on the occasion of the annual conference, the president of EARIE presents a limited number of awards to young researchers for papers of exceptionally high quality. Young researchers are under 35 years of age and have completed their Ph.D. less than 5 years ago from the starting date of the conference. In addition to a memorial plaque, the YEEA consists of € 1000,-.
In 2006 the President of EARIE, Prof. Dr. Lars-Hendrik Roeller, hands out 4 awards. One of these awards is dedicated to the late Paul Geroski for the paper that makes the most significant policy contribution.
